Montana Information
The beautiful Bitterroot and Sapphire Mountains with their majestic peaks are home to trophy size Big Game. Our Montana areas for hunting are in the Bitterroot and Lolo National Forests of Western Montana . Permitted on over 2 million acres, including areas: 202, 203, 204, 240, 250, 260, 261, and 270. The use of 4x4 vehicles primarily accesses the Bitterroot and Lolo National Forests, with most of your hunting being done on foot. Since there are many remote roadless areas, our guides hunt in places where there is very little or no hunting pressure. Our professional guides are licensed and seasoned veterans with experience in calling, stalking, capeing, and skinning. We provide you the option to get your game to a processor and we can make recommendations for quality taxidermy services. Accommodations, meals, guides, 4x4 vehicles and equipment are provided. You need to provide your own personal gear, weapons, license and tags.

Idaho Information

Our Hunting area in Idaho is unit #12 in the Clearwater National Forest/Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness Area. The wilderness area encompasses over 1.5 million acres and is home to one of the largest elk herds found in the Rocky Mountains. Wildlife Adventures provides pack-in hunts to wilderness tent camps. Our area is an exclusive 200,000 acres of prime elk country. This means that we are the only permitted Outfitter allowed to hunt this area. Our wilderness camps are located many miles from any road or town. Accommodations the first day are provided at the Guest Lodge in Victor, Montana. The following day we drive to the trailhead where you travel by horseback following the pack string into base camp. There you will find a kitchen tent where mouth watering meals will be prepared. Hunters will be housed in wall tents with stoves, lanterns, foam beds, wash stand, and drying racks. Your guides will light the stove and lantern as well as bring you a hot cup of coffee or tea long before daylight. After a full breakfast you will grab lunch and mount your horse, which has already been saddled, and head out for a full day of hunting. We have an excellent selection of seasoned and reliable riding stock. Firewood is cut before the season and stacked nearby the tents. A shower tent facility in the backcountry will be available and the outhouse tent has uptown seats! Our camps are recognized as probably the cleanest and most organized that you will see. In addition to our base camps, we offer spike camps, for a more remote hunt. These spike camps are not as deluxe as our base camps, but they are very comfortable and functional for the hunter who wants a true wilderness experience. The Selway Wilderness area and Wildlife Adventures provide the location and the opportunity for a true pack-in wilderness hunt.
