Winter Activities:

Wildlife Adventures is a winter wonderland of fun for the whole family. Your family or group can enjoy our beautiful outdoor setting, which is surrounded by the rugged Bitterroot Mountains. Our winter weekend and vacation packages have numerous options to choose from, so let us know what type of activity interests you and we’ll design a package or weekend which will fit your needs. One of the popular activities in the area is snowmobiling.  These sleds are rented to us by a local business, so they can be rented to you by either the day or week.  Just let us know when you want to go and we'll reserve them for your family or group.   

Whether it is cross country skiing, snowshoeing, horseback riding, or snowmobiling we will be glad to help you plan your winter vacation.  For the fast paced downhill skier, Lost Trail Ski Area is approximately one hour south of the Lodge off Hwy 93.

After a full day of fun in the snow you can return to the ranch and crawl into our outside hot tub. Then have our Lodge cook fix you one of our homemade dinners served in our dinning room. Retire to the great room, play a game of pool or just sit in front of the massive rock fireplace enjoying the warm fire.   If you’re looking for a great relaxing winter vacation don’t pass this up! Bunkhouse:

For the real adventurous we have an updated bunkhouse.   In the bunkhouse are 4 rooms (3 small rooms and 1 large room).  Each room sleeps a minimum of 4 people.  All bunk beds and furniture were made right here in Montana out of peeled logs.  A common door connects two of the bunkhouse rooms, this allows a large party the ability to sleep up to 10 people. Each room has a TV/VCR, microwave, and coffeepot.  All rooms are non-smoking.  The comfort of the lounge at the lodge is just a stone’s throw from the bunkhouse.  The only amenity that is not included in your bunkhouse room is a private bathroom facility. But, at the end of the boardwalk adjacent to the bunkhouse rooms you’ll find two newly remodeled bath facilities, one for the cowboys and the other for those cowgirls. Each bathhouse has 2 private stalls and 3 private showers. As you can see we have gone all out in remodeling our facility for your authentic western vacation. Give this a try, you will treasure the memories forever.
